Veg Hakka Noodles

Most of us have a special liking towards noodles.This is a simple and quick recipe for making a delicious Veggie Hakka Noodles.I bet it tastes just perfect to satisfy our taste buds.This recipe can be made with any combination of veggies,scrambled eggs,tofu etc.

Time:Making Time (20 mins)

Difficulty level:Easy

Ingredients:
  • Hakka Noodles - 1 packet (any brand)
  • Mixed Vegetables (Carrots,Grean Peas,Cabbage,Bean Sprouts,Bell Peppers) - 1 cup finely sliced
  • Onions - 1 small sized (or) Spring Onions - finely sliced
  • Tofu - 1 small cup (Optional)
  • Garlic Flakes - 3-4 finely chopped
  • Olive Oil - 3 Tbsp
  • White/Black Pepper Powder - 2 Tsp
  • Soy Sauce - 2 Tsp
  • Chili Sauce - 1 Tsp (optional)
  • Vinegar - 1 Tsp (optional.I didn't use it)
  • Salt to taste
Preparation:
  1. Cook the noodles as per the instructions on the packet.Once cooked, run the noodles in cold water,Drain and Keep aside. 
  2. In a Wok or a large pan, add 3 tbsp Oil,Chopped Garlic and Chopped Onions and saute for 2-3 mins.
  3. To this,add the rest of the vegetables and sauté till the veggies start to soften. Keep tossing the veggies every few mins to avoid being burnt.
  4. Now add the Soy Sauce,Chili Sauce,Vinegar, Pepper powder and Salt to Taste and mix well.
  5. Add the noodles to this and stir fry on high flame for 2-3 mins
  6. Garnish it with chopped spring onions or Scrambled Eggs .
  7. Serve hot with any Manchurian or Sauce :)
Chef's Tip - If you are using Soy Sauce, be cautious when adding Salt to the dish as Soy Sauce tends to be a little salty by itself.
